MTT works purposefully towards a more sustainable future—focusing on climate and the environment, social responsibility, and ethical business practices, anchored in the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We aim to provide energy-efficient solutions to our customers and help create a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future. Over the past year, sustainability has become an integrated part of how we think, work, and grow.

Environmental responsibility

Environmental responsibility must be anchored in management. Management is expected to take responsibility for recording and following up environmental non-conpliances, and to include this as a standing item on the meeting agenda. Reporting system: We aim to move from annual sustainability reporting to continuous, ongoing reporting.

Surveys

In connection with our sustainability report, a climate risk and climate opportunity analysis has been prepared in accordance with the Nordic Sustainability Reporting Standard (NSRS*). In addition, MTT has carried out its own climate, risk, and opportunity assessments, as well as due diligence reporting. An energy assessment of our building at Mongstad has also been completed in connection with plans for a major redevelopment of the current production facilities. The goal is to improve energy efficiency.

Reporting on sustainability matters
Through our strategic plan, we have committed to prepare an annual sustainability report. The report is made available for our interesseparter and other interested parties on our website.

Environmental certification

Vi er allerede ISO 14001 sertifisert, og blir nok sertifisert på 45001 om ikke lenge. Ledelsessystem for miljøstyring, i løpet av 2024. Dette vil skape en plattform for oppfølging av miljømessig bærekraft, både gjennom konkrete målsetninger og ved kontinuerlig forbedring av vår virksomhet

STATEMENT FROM THE CEO

«Fremtidens elektriske systemer skapes sammen»

Dette er visjonen vår i Mongstad Tavleteknikk. For oss handler bærekraft om å utvikle elektriske systemer som er trygge, robuste og effektive – og som skaper verdi over tid for kundene våre, medarbeiderne våre og samfunnet rundt oss.

MTT leverer løsninger til kritisk elektrisk infrastruktur. Det gir oss et ansvar som går lenger enn den enkelte leveransen. Våre løsninger skal bidra til sikker drift, høy kvalitet, lang levetid og god ressursutnyttelse. Når eksisterende anlegg kan moderniseres, oppgraderes og brukes lenger fremfor å erstattes, reduseres både materialbruk, avfall og behovet for nye investeringer. Dette er bærekraft i praksis.

Bærekraft handler også om hvordan vi driver selskapet. Vi skal ha en virksomhet som tåler svingninger, som utvikler kompetanse, tar vare på folkene våre og arbeider systematisk med HMS, kvalitet og forbedring. Et trygt arbeidsmiljø, ansvarlige leverandørkjeder og god styring er grunnleggende for at vi skal kunne levere på vårt samfunnsoppdrag.
