Thorough analysis for secure and cost-effective upgrades

Before we propose a solution, we always go in depth. MTT conducts detailed studies of the existing power plants – both onshore and offshore – to document the technical condition, identify risks and design optimal solutions for the operation and service life extension.

Our studies combine practical experience with modern tools for design and documentation (EPLAN, 3D modeling, digital twin). The result is a complete report that provides the foundation for secure decisions and effective project implementations.

Study report with photos, sketches, and clear recommendations
Design ideas for replacement or upgrade of boards, components and communications systems
Proposed technical solution with assessment against the relevant standards and customer requirements (NEK 439, IEC 61439, NORSOK, Equinor TR)

An inspection on site – visual and technical inspection of the charts, fields, components and kabelføringer
Verification of documentation – review of existing drawings, kursfortegnelser, I/O lists, and metrics
Technical analysis – assessment of the electrical and mechanical integrity, discharge levels, ground fault risk, and arc flash safety (Arc Flash)
Digital rendering and modeling – updated the GA drawings, field overviews, komponentlister and proposals for new solutions
Recommended implementation model – schedule, replacement methodology, risk assessment and proposals for action for reduced downtime
