From the workshop to the operation – safe installation, test and commissioning

When panels and control systems leave production, MTT takes responsibility all the way until the facility is safely commissioned and fully operational. Our installers and service engineers provide complete installation services – from assembly and cabling to testing, calibration, and full commissioning, both onshore and offshore. With solid experience from complex industrial and offshore projects on the Norwegian continental shelf, we ensure quality, high electrical safety, and a predictable start-up – at every stage of the delivery.

Our installers work efficiently and structured, and always focus on safety – both for the users and the environment.

Planning and risk assessment

Before mobilization prepares us description of method, CH and work schedule, in close dialogue with the customer. We clean interface, access, isolation, and test procedures – to ensure safe and efficient execution.

Preparation and logistics

Products, equipment and components, and instructions packed and labeled systematically. Everything is checked against the approved BARREL-data, and the necessary certificates (ATEX, CE, FDV) follow the delivery.

Installation location

  • Our installers and serviceingeniører perform:
  • Installation of the panels and the field equipment
  • Cabling, termination, and labeling
  • Adaptation and the changeover of existing installations
  • esting of earthing and protection systems
  • To connect to the PLC, MCC and inverters
  • All work is performed in accordance with NEK 400, NEK 439, FEL and the customer's own requirements (f.ex. Equinor TR).

Testing and commissioning

Together with the customer, we carry out Site U Test (SAT) and function testing. We verify the signals, I/O, sekvenslogikk and communication between systems. All deviations and changes are documented on an ongoing basis in EPLAN and FDV system.

The handover and training

After approved the cleaner comes complete documentation, and operational staff are given the necessary training. We ensure that the facility is ready for safe, stable and efficient operation – with the opportunity for further service agreement.

  • Documentation is updated digital – direct from the field
